Privacy
Short version: we do not ask you to log in. When you click Rephrase, your text is sent to a rewriting service so you can get a result. Read-aloud uses your device only.
Accounts and profiles
English Rephrase does not require an account. We do not sell email lists or run a sign-up wall for the tool.
What happens when you rephrase
Your input text and chosen style are sent over HTTPS to the rewriting backend (currently provided by Cool Translators). That provider processes the text to return a rewritten version. Do not paste secrets, medical records, or legally sensitive material unless you accept their handling of that data.
Text-to-speech
Speak uses your device’s speech and voice features. Playback stays on your device; we do not upload recordings of speech to our servers.
Cookies and storage
The site may store small amounts of data on your device for basic behaviour. This page does not use advertising cookies.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated traffic (page views and referrers). It is not ad-based tracking. See Vercel’s documentation for how they handle analytics data.
Children
The tool is general audience. Parents and educators should supervise younger users when using any online text service.

We may update this page when the site or providers change. The date below reflects the latest revision.
